Posture correction

Healtheye is an application focusing on correcting children’s posture when they are playing with smartphones or tablets. With Healtheye on, the phone’s position change caused by users’ incorrect posture will lead to physical reactions of the objects behind the screen. Healtheye will detect the orientation and the distance of the screen relative to the users’ eyes. For example, when the user is lying holding the phone, the objects will fall down to the screen and cover the interface as a reaction caused by ‘gravity’.

Data monitor

Besides, Healtheye will record teenagers’ posture data and the time spent on their smart phone. Parents can monitor their children’s phone usage based on the records.

INCORRECT POSTURES

Keep the correct posture and prevent the objects from falling down!

Based on the orientation and the distance of the screen relative to the user’s eyes, incorrect posture can be defined into 3 categories:

  1. Watching phone in a supine position

  2. Watching phone when lying on the side

  3. Holding the phone too close to the eyes.

  4. When the user holds the phone for too long, there is also a physical reaction.

SETTINGS

On this page, users can edit their profile. Parents can turn on the forced shutdown mode to set a limited usage time for their children. They can also choose a theme from 3 options. Each option offers an object, which has its own motion effect as the physical reaction to incorrect postures.

The user can also stop the protecting mode. Then, the eye timer does not work and would not send reminder to the user. But the time spent on the phone and the incorrect posture data is still recorded.

DATA

Children’s data in terms of time of usage and correcting times is shown on Data page. Parents can see the data on their children’s phones or tablets directly. Besides, the data will be transferred to the cloud and synced to parents’ phone automatically. So parents can see their children’s usage data from their own phones.

DATA ON PARENTS’ SIDE

Parents can download the parent version. They can connect the application to their children’s account. Then, the data in terms of time of usage and correcting times will be synced to the application in their own phone through cloud. The cloud will collect all the data from an account. For example, if a child uses a phone and a tablet. The cloud will gather the data from the phone and the tablet and transfer the data to the the parent’s phone.
